Most people probably think that acne is a problem that mainly attacks during the teen years and that as an adult generally a person doesn't have to worry about such matters. These chemicals that are produced when you are tense are from the adrenal glands and they will flood your body with cortisol, which is a hormone that will trigger the sweat glands in your face to actually create more oil. In turn, this oil will then mix with the dead skin on your face which will then clog the pores of your skin. This then traps all of the bacteria inside and the result is blackheads, whiteheads or pimples.
So if it turns out that the acne that you are experiencing can be traced back to the stress in your life, this means that it's going to take more than just treatment for your skin to get rid of the acne.
